AggLayer Spotlight (※,※)
🟣 What happened: The first Aggregation Summit (AggSummit) is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand on November 10-11, 2024, ahead of Devcon. It will offer a range of events designed to foster unification across the web3 sector. (Read until the end of the newsletter for a special surprise.)
🟣 Why does it matter: AggSummit wants to bring its ecosystem together to spread awareness why unifying a fragmented blockchain industry is important. It’ll be a place to discuss how aggregation can help different projects and communities achieve greater efficiency and cohesion.
The conference will feature panels focusing on innovation in areas that can impact scalability and user experience. Fireside chats will dive into topics such as modular architectures, zero-knowledge rollups, and decentralized physical infrastructure can spread awareness about interoperability and cross-chain communication.
🟣 The big picture: It’s in the best interest for blockchain networks to work together to establish a more interconnected, accessible system.
As the broader Ethereum ecosystem faces challenges through shared frameworks, events like the AggSummit can help spread knowledge about unified liquidity.
Attendees can better understand why the gap between layer-1 and layer-2 networks needs to bridged and what it’ll take to get there. This can also make blockchain technology more inclusive, efficient, and user-friendly.
For the broader crypto industry heading to Bangkok for Devcon, AggSummit could be an event that opens more discussion on creating a unified path forward in developing resilient, scalable systems across the ecosystem.
