Inside The Blockchain

🌐 What happened: Alchemy has added support for Aptos, giving developers access to its tools for building apps on the network. This includes infrastructure tooling like node access, real-time data connections, and debugging features.

🌐 Why it matters: Every crypto app requires technical infrastructure to keep things running smoothly. By supporting Aptos, Alchemy is looking to make it easier for developers to build on the network using tools they may already be familiar with.

Aptos is designed to handle large numbers of transactions quickly and at low cost, which is useful for apps focused on trading, payments and consumer products. Alchemy provides the backend services that lets developers focus on building products instead of having to manage servers and connections.

🌐 The big picture: Alchemy’s integration with Aptos lowers the barrier to entry for developers. Teams can now experiment on Aptos without having to build their entire tech stack from scratch.

Overall, integrations like these reflect how blockchain ecosystems mature: incremental upgrades for developer functionality make it easier to move from experimentation to real-world applications.

The Ecosystem Is Makin’ Moves

  • Echelon released its ELON token, which will be used for governance and distributing network fees back to users

    • Aptos has a blog about the token’s functionality and how it fits into the broader lending ecosystem

  • Rhea integrated with Aptos to provide X chain lending and X Chain DEX aggregation. Users can supply assets on Aptos and use them for collateralized borrow positions across networks

  • Ekiden updated its hybrid orderbook DEX to include cross-margin perpetual trading for pairs like BTC, ETH, and HYPE

  • Pictor Network plans to create a GenAI creative layer to lower infrastructure costs by sharing GPU resources

  • Hyperion addedpasskey recovery code as a security option for its Aptos-powered DEX
