Injecting in the biggest developments

Highlighting some of the largest announcements from Injective.

🥷What’s happening: Injective launched its EVM Public Testnet, embedding an Ethereum-based environment into its layer-1 blockchain.

🥷Why it matters: Unlike conventional EVM solutions that are reliant on bridges or external layers, Injective’s EVM integration enables high-speed execution of Ethereum-compatible smart contracts natively. This allows developers to leverage familiar coding languages like Solidity and wallets like MetaMask. At the same time, they can tap into Injective’s financial modules, such as an onchain order book, for building sophisticated DeFi applications.

Additionally, the native EVM lowers barriers for developers to integrate withRWA Moduel,, a protocol for tokenizing RWAs like stocks and commodities. Thus enhancing liquidity and advancing its mission to bridge TradFi and DeFi. Injective’s EVM enables rapid development and cross-chain composability, positioning the platform as a more accessible hub for  financial ecosystems.

🥷 The bigger picture: Injective’s EVM Public Testnet is the network’s next step toward creating a unified, interoperable DeFi ecosystem.

The network looks to eliminate the need for bridges and foster greater cross-chain composability via its MultiVM environment. This allows developers to create dApps that integrate directly with Injective’s central limit order book infrastructure and extend to Ethereum and other VM environments, such as SVM, Move and more.

This dual-structure approach mirrors broader trends in DeFi, where platforms are able to combine high-throughput trading with smart contract programmability to eliminate fragmentation and create a better user experience.
