Hedera Highlights
#️⃣ What’s happening: McLaren Racing has joined Hedera Council as a full member.
#️⃣ Why it matters: Hedera Council is made up of organizations that run nodes and vote on network decisions. For many networks, governance is concentrated among a small group of technical or financial stakeholders. Hedera Council’s model is designed to distribute that control across a range of industries and use cases.
McLaren Racing's seat adds a consumer-facing sports organization to the body, which also comprises enterprises, financial institutions, and infrastructure companies.
As a member of the governing council, McLaren Racing holds equal voting rights on network decisions alongside other members, which include Google, IBM, and Dell.Council membership gives McLaren Racing a formal vote on Hedera software updates, fee structures, and network changes.
#️⃣ The bigger picture: McLaren Racing's Council membership builds on a previously announced partnership with Hedera, which included a digital collectibles program tied to the F1 and IndyCar seasons. That program gave Hedera early exposure to McLaren Racing's global audience.

Hashgraph joined the Agentic AI Foundation, an open initiative under the Linux Foundation dedicated to advancing standards and collaboration for AI agents
USDT0 expanded its omnichain version of USDT to the Hedera network
