🥷 What’s happening: Revolut has listed Injective’s native token, INJ, and rolled out zero-fee staking support across its suite of retail and business apps, as well as on its trading platform Revolut X.
🥷 Why it matters: This integration enables Revolut’s 65 million users to buy, sell, trade, hold, and stake INJ directly within the app. Staking yields offer up to 12.64% APR, 100% of which goes to users since there are no platform commissions.
The integration aims to simplify the onboarding experience for Injective, since there’s no need to manage crypto features like private keys or select validators.
The move adds Injective’s token to a regulated, trusted gateway that lets traders bypass traditional barriers, like wallet setup or complex interfaces, which many consider a deterrent to users new to crypto.
Injective’s addition to Revolut also enables institutions to access DeFi primitives without direct chain interaction, accelerating tokenization and cross-chain finance while maintaining regulatory compliance.
The cooperation aligns with broader trends in the crypto landscape, as growing regulatory clarity, institutional inflows, and maturing DeFi protocols increasingly bring crypto to the masses.
By embedding INJ staking into a familiar banking app, the collaboration allows both institutions and retail users to participate in the high-yield DeFi economy without sacrificing usability or security.
